Designer’s Note: "When designing The Tapestry Whimsy Pullover Embellished Knit, my intention was to transform a cozy winter essential into a wearable piece of modern art. It’s an expression of textured luxury, combining playful abstraction with intricate, hand-crafted detail to elevate everyday cool-weather styling. The Silhouette: Crafted with a relaxed yet tailored approach, this jumper features an easy-fitting, slightly cropped boxy silhouette that hits right at the hip. Drop-shoulder seams create a soft, slouched drape through the long sleeves, balancing comfortable volume with a modern edge. Finished with a clean, ribbed crew neckline and subtle ribbing along the cuffs and straight hem, it’s an effortless piece to layer over structured shirting or high-waisted denim. The Motif & Embellishments: Rather than relying on a printed pattern, the design comes alive through a rich, multi-dimensional collage of mixed-media artistry. Inspired by mid-century abstract mosaics, dynamic floral and geometric shapes are rendered using raised bouclé yarn, dense tufted embroidery, and delicate beadwork in jewel tones of teal, ochre, crimson, and blush. Clear and iridescence-coated sequins are scattered across the ecru base, catching the light with subtle, sophisticated shimmer as you move.
